THE newly-created Bridgwater United Football Club has released images of the final design for the new North Stand they hope to build at Fairfax Park.
The modern and sleek construction will house the football operations for the club including changing rooms and offices while also hosting an array of spaces and areas open to the public.
A spokesperson for the club said: “These community spaces will bring the stand and the football club into the heart of the Bridgwater and Sedgemoor community.
“The proposed layout includes a public cafe that will be open seven days a week, a supporters lounge and hospitality boxes/suites.
“The boxes will double as classrooms or meeting rooms and they will be available all year round for the use of community groups such as carnival groups, support or education groups with the flexibility to host both small and large events also.”
The club has submitted a planning pre-application to Sedgemoor District Council and now await their feedback.
