THE Robins celebrated their return to action at Fairfax Park on Saturday with an excellent 2-1 victory over Royal Wootton Bassett Town in the second round of the Buildbase FA Vase.
This was a hard-fought win for Bridgwater who were expecting a tough game despite the fact that their opponents are struggling against relegation in the Hellenic league
Earlier in the season Wootton Bassett progressed to the first-round proper of the Emirates FA Cup overcoming Chipping Sodbury on penalties before beating step 4 Didcot Town and losing narrowly to step 3 Oxford City.
