WEATHER: Met Office predicts strong winds over the next two days

SOMERSET is set to be battered by strong winds tomorrrow and Tuesday after a sunny bank holiday weekend.

The Met Office has issued a yellow wind warning for the county, extending from West Somerset up to Bristol.

Devon, Cornwall, Dorset, and South Wales will also experience blustery conditions at the start of the week.

According to the Met Office website, the South West will be hit by “heavy rain, strong winds and coastal gales” on Monday and “sunshine and showers on Tuesday and Wednesday”.
