Teenager racially abused by five boys in Bridgwater

A 15-YEAR-OLD boy was racially abused by a group of five other boys as he cycled home after school in Bridgwater.

The incident happened on Chilton Street – near the junction of Waverly Road and Kendale Road by the temporary road work traffic lights – between 3.15pm and 3.45pm on Thursday, March 18.

A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset police said: “The offenders are described as white, approximately 12 to 13-years-old, and were wearing black jackets and black trousers.

“We’re asking witnesses and anyone with information relating to the incident to call 101 quoting the crime reference number 5221058640.”
