THE Somerset Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is carrying out a consultation exercise with the local community regarding the closure of the Victoria Park Medical Centre and healthcare service in Bridgwater next week.
A spokesperson for Bridgwater Town Council said: “Since the closure registered patients have been assigned to different medical centres in the town but this has meant an increase in health inequalities in the Victoria Ward for the community.
“This consultation will be an opportunity for local residents and patients to explain why it is important for the centre to reopen at Victoria Park Community Centre.
“The consultations are all to held in the centre’s Park Suite. There is free car parking on site and the whole centre is fully accessible.”
Times and days of consultations:
Monday, October 11: 5.30pm – 8pm
Tuesday, October 12: 10am – 12pm
Wednesday, October 13: 1.30pm – 4pm
