AVON and Somerset police have charged a man with murder 23 years after Jacqueline Kirk was set on fire in Weston-Super-Mare.
Jacqueline was 62-years-old when she died in August 2019.
Last night Steven Paul Craig, 57, of Brailsford Crescent, York, was charged by detectives from the Avon and Somerset police Major Crime Investigation Team.
The charge was authorised by the Crown Prosecution Service South West’s Complex Casework Unit.
Craig was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Bristol Magistrates’ Court this morning (Friday).
