A BASE jumper was left dangling in the air after his parachute became entangled on a 30ft high ledge near Cheddar Gorge.
Crews from six fire stations – including Burnham-on-Sea and Cheddar – attended the incident at Tuttors Hill on Thursday.
A Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said one man was rescued from the cliff edge by fire service personnel using a ladder and safety at height equipment.
He was then left in the hands of paramedics.
