A BLAZE in an end-of-terrace in Bridgwater this morning is believed to have been started deliberately.
A fire crew from the town and one from Burnham-on-Sea were sent to Linley Close at 4.39am.
They arrived to find smoke billowing from the property and discovered the fire was in the kitchen with no-one in the building.
After putting out the fire, crews contacted the police to say the fire was started deliberately.
A Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “The property was damaged by the fire and smoke. Duty of care was left with the police.”
