THE fire which destroyed a caravan in Middlezoy last night was started deliberately, fire officers believe.
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service sent two engines to the scene from Bridgwater just after 9.15pm.
But by the time they arrived it was too late to save the caravan from being destroyed and a nearby fence was also badly damaged.
A spokesperson for the fire service said: “This is believed to have been deliberate at this time.”
