FIREFIGHTERS cut free a casualty who was left trapped after a four vehicle crash in North Petherton.
The accident – which also involved three cars – happened just before 5pm on New Year’s Eve in Showground Road.
A spokesperson for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: “Crews used two sets of hydraulic cutting equipment to remove the casualty from the van.
“There was three other casualties who were all dealt with by the ambulance service.”
