PUPILS from St Annes Church Academy

Pupils spread cheer at care homes

PUPILS from St Anne’s Church Academy virtually visited the Nashley House care home in Bridgwater, Somerset, to sing Christmas carols to the residents.

They have been doing the same for a number of care homes across the area although this visit was special for one of the children as their great-grandmother lives in the home.

The Year 3 pupils also made Covid-safe Christmas cards.

Principal Emma Hardy Smith said: “We are always very keen to reach out to the community but especially this year.

“We are connecting with a number of care homes in the local area to spread some Christmas joy. We wish everyone a very safe Christmas.”

The academy is part of The Priory Learning Trust.
