ENTHUSIASTIC children at Pawlett primary went back to school in spring sunshine to enjoy their wonderful outside spaces.
Principal Emma Barker said: “It has been an incredible day with a wonderful sense of relief and excitement at being back. There was huge enthusiasm all round.”
Outside learning is a key part of the curriculum at Pawlett and the school plans to make even more use of its stunning grounds post lockdown.
The 200-year-old school, part of The Priory Learning Trust, is situated in stunning grounds with sports pitches, a Forest School, adventure playground, and is next door to a state-of-the-art community club with a 3G football pitch that can be used by the children.
Pawlett also has its own Jill Dando News Centre for pupils.
