SOMERSET has seen another nine Covid-19 related deaths in the latest 24-hour reporting period – five in Somerset West and Taunton and four in Mendip.
The figures take the overall death toll in the county council area to 297.
Of that number 114 have been in South Somerset, 99 in Mendip, 97 in Sedgemoor and 87 in Somerset West and Taunton.
