We’ve recently had some superb community support from Reaper Events and White Noise Studios to help create The Big Virtual Weston Fest. It’s our very own virtual music festival to raise money to support the care given by own clinical professionals.
We’ve got seven bands, all prepared to play free of charge. They include…
- The much-loved Lipinski Band
- The Voice’s Harrisen Larner-Main
- The brilliant Cheekbone
- Party-starting Fantastique
- The wonderful Weeds
- The talented Taylor Topham
- And…Britain’s Got Talent’s Dennis Demille
It will take place on Saturday 4 July via a live stream on our Facebook page and YouTube channel (which will be embedded to our website) and be hosted by entertainer Steve Apelt.
It has been a real community effort, summed up by our community fundraiser Kirsty Simmons below… (Feel free to quote).
“The Big Virtual Weston Fest started as a small idea, but we have been blown away by the support shown by some of our brilliant community supporters in the local music industry.
Reaper Events and White Noise Studios have played a huge role in helping us arrange a super line up and we are so grateful to them.
Also a big thanks to The Lipinski Band, Harrisen Larner-Main, Cheekbone, Fantastique, Weeds, Taylor Topham and Dennis Demille who will play on 4 July.
We really appreciate the support in what has been a challenging time for the hospice. We can’t wait and we hope our incredible supporters will love it too!”
