THE rate of Covid-19 infection in Sedgemoor is currently higher than any of the other three Somerset districts.
Over the last seven days there have been 171 recorded cases, a rate of 138.8 per 100,000 people.
Rates in other districts are: South Somerset – 229 at a rate of 136 per 100,000; Somerset West and Taunton – 170 at a rate of 109.6; and Mendip – 108 at a rate of 93.4.
