More investment into children’s play areas

A NEW wheelchair friendly roundabout and sensory panels are to be installed in Coronation Park, Bridgwater.

The new equipment for children with additional needs will be accessible from tarmac pathways and located slightly away from the existing equipment to allow for quieter play.

The project, costing £15,165, is being funded by Sedgemoor District Council and a grant from Bridgwater Town Council. The work is due to start middle of May.

At Crowpill Lane play area  there will be some new junior and cradle swings for toddlers installed in March and will cost in the region of £8,400.

The park will remain open during the works.
