Go along to Axbridge Town Hall to learn more about SEED activities

SEED, the consortium promoting the arts and cultural activities in Sedgemoor, is shifting its main focus to Axbridge, Cheddar and the Polden Hills in 2022.

This year Highbridge and Burnham-on-Sea has been the location most of its work.

A spokesperson for SEED said: “In the last year we have commissioned exciting projects including Blues in the Pews, a monthly jam and open mic session, the Highbridge Podcast and Come Together, an afternoon of music and summer festival vibes including a creative festival headband competition.

Meet the team

“Next Wednesday (November 17) members of the community in Axbridge, Cheddar and the Polden Hills are invited to Axbridge Town Hall to find out about the activities and events that we commissioned in Highbridge as well as the opportunity to meet the team.

“This is a chance for you to ask questions about what we have already done over the past 18 months as well as find out about the type of events we could bring to the area next year.

“We already have some exciting projects returning including the recently expanded Cheddar Valley Window Wanderland but we want to meet you and tell you about how you can get involved in planning and deciding what creative and arts activities we can bring.

“The meeting is open to anyone. Just come along to Axbridge Town Hall on Wednesday at 6pm to find out more.
