SOMERSET Rural Life Museum is hosting one of their ‘Talk and Teas’ on Zoom next month when writer and gardener Abigail Willis will be sharing stories from her book ‘The Secret Gardens of Somerset’.
The book is a personal tour of 20 of the most beguiling gardens found in the county. Hestercombe, The Newt in Somerset, Cothay Manor, The Bishop’s Palace and Kilver Court are among the much-loved places featured in the book.
A museum spokesperson said: “Settle in with a cup of tea and enjoy a relaxed afternoon talk exploring one of our enduring favourite hobbies – our gardens.
“Join Abigail for an armchair journey around some of the different styles of gardens featured in her book, and exploring why Somerset is such a great place to be a gardener.”
The event is being held on April 9 from 2.30pm.
