COME Together, a celebration to mark the end of lockdown and an opportunity for people in Burnham and Highbridge to sing and dance to some great music, is being held on September 26.
A spokesperson for the event, organised by Seed, said: “You can join the processions from Highbridge and Burnham-on-Sea with the band, or meet us at Apex Park. Don’t forget to bring a picnic.
“Once in Apex Park, street band Tongues of Fire will perform many well-known classics including the popular Beatles tunes Come Together and Just a Little Help From my Friends, as well as Lean on Me, Lovely Day, Happy, Bring Me Sunshine and What a Wonderful World.
“Words will be provided so don’t be afraid to let your hair down and join in.
“Together with Create You, Seed have created free festival headband kits for you to get creative before the big day.
“We will be running a competition judged on the day by members of Tongues of Fire and members of Burnham-on-Sea and Highbridge Town Council.”
